Sameer Walia of The Smart Cube wins Entrepreneur of the Year Award

The award recognises Walia’s innovative approach and contributions to the financial services industry

NEW DELHI – 28 October, 2016: Sameer Walia, co-founder and managing director of The Smart Cube, has been awarded the coveted “Entrepreneur of the Year (Innovation in Financial Services)” award by the US-based Entrepreneur Media Group.

Walia has been recognised for his company’s innovative approach in developing Quant Insight – a services-based product that helps money managers better understand macro factors driving securities. With the capacity to analyze more than 2,500 securities daily and provide in-depth insights, Quant Insight enables more informed, data-driven decision-making for optimal trade, reduced trade-selection errors and substantially improved trading efficiency.

Walia has 23 years of management consulting and entrepreneurial experience, of which a little more than a decade was spent at Accenture’s strategy consulting practice.
